Dave O’Brien appointed to NAPFA National Board

When he’s not working on your financial plan or spending time with his family, Dave’s favorite hobby is volunteering for NAPFA and advancing the fiduciary cause. Now he will be able to do that for at least three more years, as a director on NAPFA’s national board.

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors was founded in 1983 and is the leading professional association dedicated to the advancement of Fee-Only and Fiduciary financial planning. NAPFA has been vital in advancing consumer protections, most recently the DOL’s fiduciary rule.

Dave has been active in NAPFA and currently chairs the Public Policy Committee, serves on the Long-Range Planning Committee and is a former member of the Compensation Committee. He also promotes transparency and accountability in the financial planning field through his work with the Financial Planning Coalition. You can read more by  clicking Here for the Press Release.
